From 7 to 9 January 2020, major companies and organisations from all over the world as well as the most important thought leaders and personalities from the World of Advertising and Selling will be coming to Düsseldorf. They provide insights into international markets, specialist knowledge from the individual sectors and are available for advisory discussions. More than 500 managing directors and high-ranking representatives of associations and service providers use the trade shows to exchange information.

Among them are Paul Bellantone, CEO Promotional Products Association International, Timothy M. Andrews, ASI President and Chief Executive Officer, Franziska Dormann, GOTS Representative in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Schneider, representative of the clothing technology/fabrication course at HTW Berlin. Dr. Gerd Müller, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, also sends his greetings to the trade show participants in advance. He has assumed patronage of the Textile Campus at PromoTex Expo.

“Sustainable fashion is a matter of importance for three quarters of German consumers. They want to know, quite rightly, how their clothes are produced. That is why I am very pleased that the PromoTex Expo has made sustainability 2020 its centrepiece. Visitors can follow a specially designated “green route”, that takes them to sustainable exhibitors and can learn all about sustainability. There are more sustainable companies than one might think. In September 2019, 27 textile companies were in the first cohort to receive the Green Button – the publicly-endorsed label that marks out textiles made in accordance with social and sustainability standards.”

Dr Gerd Müller, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development

“PSI is an important event for the global promotional products community. Constantly evolving to reflect changes in the marketplace, it is where professionals meet to learn, network and stay on top of the latest industry trends. A must attend event.”

Paul Bellantone, CEO Promotional Products Association International

“Every year, I look forward to heading to Europe for the PSI show because it never fails to impress. It’s a must-attend show for anyone in the promotional products industry on the lookout for the latest trends and hottest products. I’m awed by the attention to detail and stellar customer service provided to everyone on the show floor and always leave with a half-dozen ideas I want to immediately implement at ASI’s own trade shows. In a word: Go!’”

Timothy M. Andrews, ASI President and Chief Executive Officer

“In the area of promotional sportswear, workwear and textile finishing, sustainability and compliance with environmental and social criteria are playing an increasingly important role. PromoTex Expo, PSI and viscom are therefore important new trade shows for the Global Organic Textile Standard.”

Franziska Dormann, GOTS Representative in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

“The three trade show segments PSI, PromoTex Expo and viscom have the common objective of addressing interested parties from the field of the external image of companies and institutions. In this respect, plausible benefit and synergy effects can be expected. I myself am active in the field of garment technology/fabrication and am therefore particularly pleased about both: active participation at the trade show and the opportunity to generate new networks in the field of promotion, sports and workwear as a trade show visitor.”

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Schneider, Representative of the course of studies Clothing Technology/Confection of the HTW Berlin
