“Let’s stick together” is the motto in Cologne during the corona crisis. Supermarket shelves emptied by “hoarders”, empty city centres and the government-imposed ban on contacts. The task of the Cologne food banks for the needy is more difficult than usual these days. The company REFLECTS GmbH from Cologne Marsdorf, which usually sells promotional and merchandising products, now also imports face masks and sells them through distributors. This is where Meinhard Mombauer, founder and Managing Director of REFLECTS, wants to start, providing the Cologne food banks with 5,000 face masks. “We are delighted to receive this donation,” says Harald Augustin, Managing Director of the food banks, “as it enables us to provide people in need with something that will help during these times”. www.reflects.com
